Shanklin – Quieter than Sandown but still plenty to do and see, including ten pin bowling. Rare flora and fauna at Shanklin Chine (‘blue flag’ beach).

Ventnor – Imposing Victorian resort, home to the famous Spyglass Inn also galleries and antique shops. (‘blue flag’ beach).
