If you’re looking for a relaxed and friendly rural retreat from which to enjoy the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside, then High Pines B& B is for you. Adgestone is on the southeast side of the island close to the village of Brading and about 2 miles from Sandown seafront. It is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with some of the most spectacular views on the island, such as Culver Down. Easy access to bridleways, footpaths and cycle routes make this an ideal location for walkers and cyclists. Alternatively, relax on the lovely sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor or visit the many local attractions such as the steam railway, Roman villa, garlic farm and vineyard. Godshill, famous for its church, cream teas, cider, toy museum and many gift shops is well worth a visit. We are a short distance from the villages of Arreton, Brading and Newchurch where there are pubs serving excellent food. Numerous first class restaurants are within easy reach. There are two large guest rooms; both are on the first floor. One can be configured with either twin or super king beds and has a powerful en-suite shower. The other has a double bed and en-suite bath with shower over. Both rooms are warm and pampering; the beds are so comfortable and the nights so quiet that you may find it difficult to get up for breakfast, which is served in the privacy of your room. There is plenty of choice and is made with the best of local produce. The proprietor is coeliac, so a gluten free breakfast is easily catered for, if required. We look forward to welcoming you soon for what we hope will be the first of many visits. After the Isle of Wight, why not visit the Normandy Landing beaches from the beautiful Val de Saire villages of Anneville en Saire or Morsalines? http://www.valdesaire.info/ Guest Comments “I have had a lovely time and look forward to my next visit” – Mrs Y from Starcross, Devon “Very comfortable and a great breakfast, thank you” – Mr and Mrs P from Crowthorne, Berkshire “Very relaxing stay” – Mr H from London “Couldn’t want for more.
